(Having a greater proportion of items with a 'buy now' option would be preferred. - I know this is entirely the prerogative of the seller - it's not a complaint, but not everything justifies a bidding war). In addition, it can mean different auction times cause multiple payments, calculations of combined postage, delayed delivery, some items won, some not. ... just too complex

Weathering by Weathering Works is excellent, really, really good. Turns a 'toy' into a true representation of 'real'.
More than one image of item would be helpful and more reassuring; hence 4* not 5*. ... ... That 'information' is important when you're buying remotely.

Weathering of rolling stock = excellent.
5 star = I put in 3 bids & 'won' all 3. I also made 1 purchase. Initial communications were very good, friendly, fair, & reassuring.
5 star - 1 parcel sent & postage was combined, this was communicated.
4 star - But then, it took a little longer than I might expect for delivery. (None of what I buy/bid for on eBay is urgent, BUT if it's going to be 7-10 days, tell me).
3 star - Communication also died off at this point.
4 star - packing just adequate.
