This beautiful violin shows firmly closed lines at the right soundhole, but no open cracks or open seams, and surely some marks in it´s old amber varnish due to its age. The table is medium to wide grained spruce and the back, as well as ribs and neck, is nicely flamed maple. The violin has been completely revised by our luthier and checked on playability by our violin player. It received new ebony pegs, new ebony tailpiece, new ebony chinrest, a new bridge and new strings. Beautiful old German quality instrument in immediate playing condition! Great loud, warm and mature sound - listen to the sound on youtube ! Measures aprox.: total 59 cm / 23.2", body 35,8 cm / 14.1", vibrating chord length 32,5 cm / 12.8", weight 519 gr / ~18.31 oz.”
