Checking Your Delivery - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Please note that you must check the condition and number of packages before you sign for them. When goods are received they must be checked for damages before you sign, if this is not possible then please check goods over & if there is the slightest damage please sign as damaged as no claims can be processed for goods that have been signed for in good condition or as unchecked. If goods are received damaged then in order for us to send replacements out to you we will require you to send us photographs of all the damaged items along with photographs of the internal and external packaging. No claims can be processed without all these photographs.
 
Please do not arrange any labour until your materials are on site as we will not compensate you for your builder's time in the unlikely event of a late delivery
 
Storing your products prior to use
We send all products wrapped in protective packaging to avoid damage. We would always advise that any type of PVC guttering or PVC products is stored in a cool place out of direct sunlight to avoid damage due to heat build-up within the packaging. Any extrusions (lengths of product) should be stored horizontally and supported along the whole length of the product.
 
Notifying us of shortages
We check and double check all orders before they leave our warehouse although sometimes we do make mistakes, if you are short any items in your order please notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order. We will then investigate and send the missing items out ASAP. Our warehouse as CCTV cameras so we can pin point where the mistake has been made and get it rectified very quickly.
 
If there are any stock shortages we will contact you to try and arrange for an alternative product, or advise you on expected delivery date.
Always check items for damage when it is delivered and before signing. All goods sent out by carrier are insured against damage until you sign. Signing as unchecked does not cover the delivery against damage.
Do not book your builder until your materials are on site and checked, as some deliveries do go wrong and we are unable to compensate you for your builders’ time.
All delivery charges quoted are for delivery to mainland UK only, some highlands and islands may carry additional costs, if this is the case you will be notified before dispatch, and a full refund will be given if you decide not to accept these charges.
RETURNS
We will accept any unwanted items up to 14 days after receiving your order. Returned item must be in resalable condition "has new" with all original packaging in place and unopened. If you have any queries please contact us. Please note that Buyers will be responsible for the cost of returning the items. Delivery costs will not be refunded. In the case that your order was sent out free of charge then the original delivery costs occurred will be deducted from your refund.
 
STORAGE
Please do not store plastic products in the packaging or inner bags in direct sunlight, as damage may occur to the product due to overheating.
Do not store other building materials on top of plastic building products as it may scratch or damage the product.
 
STOCK SHORTAGES
In the event of a stock shortage we will notify you via your e-mail address or telephone as to when your order can be processed. If it is not within 21 days you can cancel your order and a full refund will be made.
Wherever possible we will offer alternative items should we be out of stock of the product you have ordered. This may be a larger size which may require cutting to size on site.
Product prices are shown in GBP sterling and all transactions are processed as such.
We will do our best to deliver complete orders within 6 working days, however we do not guarantee to deliver and we cannot accept any responsibility for any losses you may incur due to late delivery.
Goods that are delivered via courier are cut in half and packaged to avoid any unnecessary damage, all goods must be checked for damages before signing (signing as unchecked does not cover you) any claims for shortages or damages that are not clearly marked on paperwork cannot be processed.

We will NOT give your e-mail address to any other company.
We may, from time to time, send you e-mails regarding new products and special offers.
 
COMPLAINTS
Building Plastics (Wales) Limited are committed to excellent customer service.
We will, wherever possible, deliver goods on our own, specialised transport and by our trained staff.
If we are out of stock we will, wherever possible, provide you with an alternative product or larger size.
In years of trading we have had very few complaints however if you need assistance of any kind you can contact us by email info@buildingplasticsltd.co.uk or via our contact details.
All complaints will be dealt with in a fair, confidential and efficient manner.

Once an order for goods has been accepted it can only be cancelled in our absolute discretion and subject to such terms as we shall impose.
