Seller notes: “Small Antique 'Miniature' Copper & Brass Taper Chamberstick Candle Holder.The circular copper base ... “Small Antique 'Miniature' Copper & Brass Taper Chamberstick Candle Holder.The circular copper base plate measures just about 6.8cm in diameter, about 8.7cm diameter across where the riveted circular brass handle sits.The height is roughly 3.8-3.9cm.The candle stem is made from a small beautifully turned little brass turret, which bares some similarity to a small metal chess rook or castle.It is very small and made specifically to hold the very slim taper candles.I would guess it to be early 20th century, though it could also be late Victorian, but it has cleaned up nicely and is both decorative and functional.”
