Controversial film about a teenage boy who, after leading his gang to commit a series of violent crimes, becomes a guinea pig for the government's new 'conditioning' programme. The authorities use aversion therapy to mould the teenager into a law-abiding citizen, but ethical questions are raised by both the methods and their objectives. Based on the novel by Anthony Burgess, this is a stylised - and graphic - satire.
