NotesOctagandhi is a four-piece progressive rock-fusion band, Dan Kselman and Mike Witt on guitar, Adam Klein on bass, and Dustin Speybroeck on the drums. Octagandhi formed in 2000. Octagandhi's deep repertoire is a tasteful fusion of inventive lyric-based original rock, jazz idioms, plus diverse art forms such as world folk, blues, and classical music. Song material includes inspired personal themes, politically or spiritually charged fables, and songs simply celebrating merry debauchery. Live shows also include choice covers for a fresh mix of sounds. The band is based in South Bend, IN but currently resides in separate parts of the globe: Chicago, IL, South Bend IN, Santa Barbara, CA, and Istanbul, Turkey. Octagandhi remains steadfast, reuniting periodically and keeping the flame alive through remote collaboration.
