Following the success of its predecessor, Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance 2 for PlayStation 2 brings players back to the troubled city to take on new adventures. While the town of Baldur’s Gate is the same, there are five entirely new characters. The characters each have special abilities and can be customised and leveled up as the game progresses. The characters in Dark Alliance II use powerful weapons, armor, and magic to battle their way through each mission. Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance 2 for PlayStation 2 has its own dark plot, but there are also several other side stories and missions for players to complete as they make their way through Baldur’s Gate. These are all tailored to the special abilities of different characters, encouraging players to use different characters throughout. There are four chapters in the game and 40 levels. Dark Alliance II can be played with one or two players, but with the two-player cooperative mode, friends can complete the levels side by side on a single screen.
