This collection features instrumental bossa Novas & Brazilian Jazz classics from the pens of masters Antonio Carlos Jobim, Ary Barrosso, Dori Caymmi, Guinga & more. Joining Robert on this 'Bossalicious' journey are native Brazilians Roberto Montero on acoustic guitar and vocals, percussionist Cristiano Novelli and American percussionist Ami Moinelli. What makes this CD so unique is the instrumentation, acoustic guitar and TWO percussionists, with one of the percussionists functioning as a bass player by playing some kind of low drum. This gives the music a very unique texture and lots of space for Robert's beautiful sax or flute to float over. The sparse & lovely wordless vocals are used as an additional instrument, adding another texture to the sonic palette of this delightful recording... This artist also known as Rob Kyle :)
