Offbeat western about the relationship between Chief Sitting Bull and Buffalo Bill Cody. Sitting Bull performs in Buffalo Bill's travelling Wild West Show, but when he asks for a representation of the slaughter of the Sioux by American soldiers to be included, Cody tries to fire him. Later, hearing that the Chief has been shot dead, Cody attempts to justify himself in an imaginary conversation with the old warrior.
