The Art of War add-on offers seven new ship units, two new nations (Bavaria and Denmark), and five more challenging campaigns. New single-mission set-ups are also included. Along with these welcome but expected new maps, missions, and historically accurate battles come refinements and improvements to gameplay and interface.<br><br>Difficulty can now be adjusted to better suit players at all skill levels. The game's enhanced multiplayer services now track player history and make it easier to find suitable human opponents online. Multiplayer competitors are ranked according to their records and may even earn medals for outstanding performances. Games can be recorded and replayed. An included map editor allows Cossacks players to design their own historical scenarios and play through them against the computer or a friend.
