These concave brake washers are manufactured by Dia-Compe using a half-moon design, and they are made entirely of aluminum. At approximately 2.5 inches in diameter, they are the standard size of most concave washers. These conventional concave brake washers are intended to work as a component of the caliper brakes that are located at the front wheel on many modern bicycles. They fit a large number of the different brands of brake calipers on the market, and their main function is to allow the brake installer to attach the front brake caliper to the curved tube of the bicycle.
