This full-cast dramatization of a classic Dick Barton mystery was recorded in 1946 and rediscovered in the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia. Dick Barton rose to popularity in the 1940s in the first long-running radio serial. Originally broadcast in 1946, it went out each weekday evening for the next five years. At its peak, it had an audience of 15 million. This vintage recording has great nostalgic appeal.
