A double feature release which includes two GHOST STORIES. VIEW FROM A HILL is an adaptation from a novel by M.R. James and is directed by Luke Wilson for the BBC. The story centres around Dr Fanshawe who goes on holiday and has a disturbing experience while visiting a local landmark. The second film on this release is NUMBER 13. NUMBER 13 is also an adaption from M.R. James only this time directed by Pier Wilke. An academic (Greg Wise) is staying at a hotel in a small cathedral town in England when he notices that the rooms jump from number 12 to 14. One night he sees that the room numbered 13 appears and he decides to investigate.
