Groovy Bunch of Games includes nearly 70 variations of familiar tabletop games, presented for the PC with a retro-1960s flair in a colorful motif of stylized daisies and funky patterns and swirls. While some of the games in the compellation may be new to some gamers, most are versions of games that families have been playing together for generations.<br><br>Groovy Bunch of Games includes versions of Hearts, Spades, Old Maid, and even Go Fish for the card players. At least a half-dozen versions of solitaire are included as well. Hardcore strategy fans can play chess, checkers, backgammon, and other board games.<br><br>The software also features versions of slots and video poker for the casino aficionado. Many virtual jigsaw puzzles and several two-player "Box Battles" round out the offerings. In most games available in the package, multiple players can compete on the same machine in a "hot-seat" mode or go online to challenge a friend head-to-head over the net.
