Product Information
Robert B Weide's Film4-funded romantic comedy is a loosely fact-based adaptation of British journalist Toby Young's memoir, recounting his attempt to become one of America's stellar magazine writers. As a result of a bizarre event at a party, left-wing scribbler Sydney Young is offered a job at one of New York's top glossy magazines. Young snaps up the opportunity, relishing the chance to make it big in the States. But once he's at the magazine, his boorish manners and social gaffes isolate him from most of his colleagues in the egomaniacal milieu in which he's trying to hold his own. And it doesn't help when he accidentally kills his main love interest's cherished pet. Also starring Kirsten Dunst, Gillian Anderson, Jeff Bridges, Megan Fox and Danny Huston.Product Identifiers
