NotesRaised in the Washington, DC area, Patterson Barrett moved to Austin shortly after appearing on Jerry Jeff Walker's classic first MCA album (including the song, 'L.A. Freeway'). He formed the band Partners in Crime (with Buddy and Julie Miller), with one album under that name. Since then he's worked with artists as diverse as Hal Ketchum, Al Kooper, Nancy Giffith, Chuck Berry and Roky Erickson. After years of collaborating, Barrett has found his voice as a songwriter and performer. He explores aspects of dreams and alternate realities of life and death that touch US all. There are special guest appearances by Buddy and Julie Miller. It's an all-Americana sound that's been compared to John Hiatt, the Band and Ryan Adams.
