This Intel Xeon quad core processor has four separate cores within one physical package and has a clock speed of 2.66 GHz. The Intel Xeon X5365 3 GHz computer processor has a maximum of 8 GB of L2 cache memory that is spread over two channels of 4 MB, each which allows for more dynamic processing, less distortion, and faster core to processor bandwidth. With its front side bus speed of 1333 MHz with FSB parity as well as a bus to core ratio of eight, this Intel Xeon quad core processor can handle multiple processes and applications simultaneously. The Intel VTx feature with extended page tables and Intel demand based switching allow processes of this Intel Xeon quad core processor to be automatically switched to an alternate core when the device is not operating at its optimum ability.
