The story involves an inventor who has conjured up a time-machine in his apartment, which accidently sends the whole house back in time to the palace of Ivan the Terrible. The notorious Ivan is subsequently sent forward in time to take the place of the inventor, and lots of laughs ensue in this crazy mix of sci-fi and comedy.
