Four years after its initial release, TT Fusion's light-hearted take on open-world games like Grand Theft Auto gets an HD upgrade in LEGO City Undercover. Players assume the role of undercover detective Chase McCain as he explores over 20 districts in the bustling metropolis LEGO City, takes control of more than 100 unique cars, motorcycles, and aircraft, and attemps to thwart the criminal enterprise of Rex Fury. There are 15 chapters to complete as well as a number of replayable special assignments, and districts are filled with a variety of collectibles.<br><br>Gamers enjoy fully voiced dialogue as they guide McCain through familiar LEGO play sets, and the detective can use hand-to-hand combat or his grappling hook to take down foes. There are also eight undercovers disguises to collect, including construction worker, firefighter, and robber, each of which give Chase special abilities. In the course of their adventure players will meet more than 300 unlockable characters, including Officer Frank Honey, Chief of Police Dunby, and paramedic Natalia Kowalski, and this updated version of LEGO City Undercover supports co-op multiplayer action.
