This is the classic silver Leica Summicron-M is a 50 mm f/2.0 aspherical lens made for the Leica M digital camera. It has the same 6-bit coding that many of the other Leica lenses have. This coding identifies the type of lens being attached to the M camera. The Leica camera lens has a 39 mm filter size with an f/2 to f/16 f-stop range. The minimum range for this Leica camera lens is the standard 2.3 feet, letting a photographer take close-up shots but not microphotography. The Leica camera lens has a magnification ratio of 1:15.5 and a 45-degree angle of view. Each of these lenses comes with a hood and front and back lens covers. The Leica Summicron-M has a length of 1.7 inches without the hood and a diameter of 2.1 inches. The Leica camera lens has a weight of 8.47 oz.
