The Lensbaby Scout 12 mm lens is a fun and affordable, manual focus fisheye single lens reflex (SLR) camera lens. The straight in and out manual focus is very smooth and the 12 mm f/4.0 lens is compatible with the Lensbaby Optic Swap System. It is available for most popular SLR camera bodies, including Minolta and Sony. The 12 mm f/4.0 lens does not bend and features the Fisheye Optic that is capable of capturing an angle of view of 160 degrees, which is made possible by an extremely wide 12 mm focal length. The Fisheye Optic can also create unique flare effects. The Lensbaby Scout 12 mm lens has a maximum aperture of f/4 and aperture disks that range from f/5.6 to f/22. With exceptional build quality and weighing in at 8 oz (227 g), the Lensbaby Scout for Minolta/Sony has dimensions of 2.3 inches (5.79 cm) by 2.6 inches (6.63cm). The Lensbaby Scout for Minolta/Sony offers special effects such as a creative flare effect, which fills the border around the image circle with colors from bright light sources in the photo.
