Their plans at crossing Europe are consistently hampered by the Captain of Animal Control who wants to make Alex (Ben Stiller) a part of his collection. Noah Baumbach provides the script, with Eric Darnell handling director duties. Also features voices from, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Sacha Baron Cohen reprise the voice roles, with Frances McDormand stepping in as the villain.
