Kurt Steiner, who has been court-marshaled for subordination. He is offered an assignment to go to England and kidnap Winston Churchill; THE IPCRESS FILE (1965), Caine plays master spy Harry Palmer, in this mystery thriller about an undercover gang who brainwash England's leading scientists; and WITHOUT A CLUE (1988) is a twist on the Sherlock Holmes stories of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
