Dive into the Might and Magic: Millennium Edition, a first-person RPG set that will launch you into a universe of magic, monsters and mayhem! The set contains six CD-ROMs, spanning four games and two bonus titles. Might and Magic IV: Clouds of Xeen, Might and Magic V: Darkside of Xeen, Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven, Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor and the two bonus games, Might and Magic: Swords of Xeen and Might and Magic: World of Xeen, make up the collection. All the non-linear adventures feature hours and hours of gameplay in deep, rich and immersive environments. Many quests will be issued to your party of four, some taking you to far off regions of the map and others to remote caves and shrines located throughout the land. Many side quests are also available so that you can get lost in a completely different task, luring you deeper into this magical world. Rescuing maidens, slaying monsters and saving the realm from total destruction are just some of the quests you'll have to handle. A large map is included with the set making it easier to keep track of where you are, where you've been and where you should be headed. Be prepared to meet many different and colorful characters as well. Over 170 different monsters and NPCs (Non-Player Characters) will be roaming around the vast countryside and crag-like mountains of this immense world. Some will befriend you and dispense information and advice, while other monsters and strongmen will only want to duel and fight for gold pieces. To battle these braggarts and beasts, you will have an array of broadswords, knives, staffs, items and most importantly, magical spells. A mage will have the ability to cast these spells so adding one to your party is highly recommended. The game is also designed for play at the users' own pace. With a simple interface and quick setup, you'll be swinging swords and casting spells in no time. On-line assistance is available for information and documentation of the game's tricks, spells, weapons and all other pertinent data on the game. In-game documentation is also there for quick reference on minor problems and queries.
