Notes"A graceful hodgepodge of pop's simplicity with R&B groove, funk movement, classic rock guitar riffs, and shimmering vocals" With a retro-leaning edge, this bouncy acoustic-based sextet continues to refine their sound in emphatic live performances that are getting Northern Californians up off their seats. Lead singer and songwriter, Shannon Bradley, has a straightforward, strong voice that relies on feel and emotion over crutches and attitude. He crafts songs with an effortlessly funky combination of Jason Mraz-ish balladry and neo-soul with lyrics that stand out of the crowd. Justin Anderson brings a solid groove to the band with a powerful confidence and rock-steady talent that speaks to his years of drumming for a variety of acts across the musical spectrum. Lead guitarist, Chad Dorado, drives the real spark of the bands originality. His inspired approach to his instrument brings complex counter-rhythms and jaw-dropping solos to the mix. Michael Klooster on keys brings a warmth and texture to the band that none will forget, not to mention the fact that his chops are second-to-none. Tino Casillas delivers spice and depth culled from years of professional percussion touring with the greats. TJ Tyler on bass pulls it all together with his melodic and syncopated style that adds texture while always tending to the pocket. Dorado and Tyler's harmonies add a richness normally employed by national touring acts that compliment Bradley regardless of where he takes the song. The Mundaze have been building a steady following of loyal fans known for coming early and staying all night long. They have opened for notable touring acts, been in the final round of SF Radio Station Live 105's Battle of The Bands, performed live on-air at Modesto, CA's radio B93.1, and filmed for television on The BBC. With their 2005 independent debut release of These Are The Daze followed by 2009's Far From OK, and building with the 2014 release of the third full-length studio album Love This Life, they continue to build momentum and have one a good time along the way.
