In the midst of an incredibly busy season playing drums in Underoath on their reunion tour, plus playing drums across the globe with the hugely successful Paramore, Aaron Gillespie has found time to record a solo album featuring original songs, songs he wrote for Underoath, and covers of the iconic classics "I Can't Make You Love Me" and "Where the Streets Have No Name." Aaron Gillespie has been best known for his role with Underoath, after which he went on to found alt rock band The Almost and later his own eponymous worship project. With The Almost currently transitioning to hiatus and Underoath celebrating recent rebirth, Out of the Badlands is a timely celebration of all of Gillespie's musical seasons.
