It tells the story of an odd couple who share a party line, eventually falling in love in spite of themselves. He's a womanising cad, and she's a perky career gal with uncompromising moral standards and fine home furnishings. In THE THRILL OF IT ALL, Beverley Boyer is the wife of an obstetrician and mother of two. At a dinner party she tells a soap manufacturer about her experiences with his product. Impressed by her appearance he offers her the chance to tell her story in his commercials. Soon she becomes a TV personality, much to her husband's displeasure.
