Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer series comes to the Wii for the first time in this release. As with editions of the 2008 title for other platforms, the developers' focus was on creating a dynamic artificial intelligence that will drive CPU-controlled teams to pose a fluid, realistic challenge. The game is also similar to its cross-platform teammates in its wide selection of customizable teams and multiple Tournament options. Unlike the editions on other consoles, the Wii version of PES '08 uses a unique control scheme designed around the motion-sensitive Wii Remote and Nunchuk.
