With a 10-20 mm f/4.0-5.6 lens, this lens is wide-angled with a view of 94.5 to 56.8 degrees. This makes the Sigma Wide Angle Lens a powerful tool for landscape photography, producing sharp images with exaggerated perspectives. There are three SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements on the Sigma Lens for Nikon, as well as three aspherical lenses, providing optimum quality while zooming. It also uses Sigma’s Hyersonic Motor (HSM) to autofocus with a quiet motor on all of Nikon bodies that can drive AF-S lenses. Photographers no longer need to spend time focusing with lens rotation as the Sigma Lens for Nikon has an internal focusing system, letting the user use a petal-type hood to protect from additional glare. This 10-20 mm f/4.0-5.6 lens is constructed with 14 elements in 10 groups, has an angle view of 102.4 to 63.8 degrees, and a minimum focusing distance of 9.4 inches.
