After selecting an onscreen alter ego, you can compete in an assortment of match styles. In "Bound for Glory," you'll face off against a series of opponents, one after another, to complete your chosen wrestler's customized storyline. "Victory Road" has you battling for the heavyweight division, forming a top-ranked tag team, or mastering the Ultimate X event. Each included wrestler, from AJ Styles and Sting to Kurt Angle and Mick Foley, can use his real-life signature moves to win matches in a variety of ways. The 3D action takes place on the top screen, with the bottom screen displaying both your wrestler's photo and an icon that shows damaged areas or weak points on your wrestler's body.
