The pale and deathly-looking set of characters were loosely based on a number of popular figures from horror films, and included head of the family, Herman Munster; His demure wife, Lily; Grandpa; Herman and Lily's son, Eddie and their niece, Marilyn. Plenty of laughs were provided as the group of misfits attempted to assimilate themselves into society, although most of the chuckles were to be found at the gag-fuelled ghouls' highly gothic-looking residence, 1313 Mockingbird Lane. Features the first two series of the show.
