Notes1992 collaboration between the Godfather of Go-Go, Chuck Brown, and a then-unknown young vocalist named Eva Cassidy. While they traveled different musical paths, both vocalists sound vibrant and complement each other as if they had been working together for years. Though Brown may have been considered past his sell-by date (since Go-Go's heyday had long since passed), these recordings prove otherwise. As for Cassidy, she would continue to remain a talented but little-known vocalist who would not achieve success until after her 1996 death.
