Andy Paterson and Frank Cottrell Boyce adapt Eric Lomax's autobiography, with Jonathan Teplitzy taking helming duties. After meeting Patti (Kidman) on a train and falling in love, Patti decides to try and free Eric of his demons and she finds that the young Japanese officer who was at the camp is still alive. The pair take a journey that will change their lives to try and find some closure for the torture he and those around him suffered during their time at the camp.
