Feedback scores, stars, and your reputation
![]() Feedback is an important part of the eBay community. When you understand what the numbers and stars mean, you’ll find it easier to evaluate a member’s reputation. Feedback scores and starsThe Feedback score is one of the most important pieces of a Feedback Profile. The Feedback score is the number in parentheses next to a member’s user ID and is also located at the top of the Feedback Profile. Next to the Feedback score, you may also see a star. Feedback scores are made up of the number of positive, negative and neutral Feedback ratings a member has received over time. In most cases, the Feedback score represents:

Other ratings in the Feedback ProfileYou can view a member’s Feedback Profile by clicking the number in parentheses next to their user ID. If you know the member’s user ID, you can also locate their Feedback Profile using the Find Feedback page. Along with a member’s Feedback score, the Feedback Profile page also shows the percentage of positive ratings left for a member, recent Feedback ratings, recent comments, any bid retractions, and detailed seller ratings.
