Your payment processing and due date
Your invoice date
Depending on when you created your seller's account, your invoice date is either the 15th of the month or the last day of the month. You'll receive your invoice by email within 5 days of the invoice date. It is not possible to change your invoice due date.
The date you receive your invoice determines your payment due date and your automatic payment schedule.
You can find your invoice date and view your current balance and details of specific charges on your Account status page.

Payment due date
Your invoice total will include your previous month's account activity as well as any past due amounts.
Your full payment is due by the next invoice date. For example, if you receive an invoice on 20 May, your payment is due by 15 June.
If you have an automatic payment method (credit card, PayPal, or direct debit) on file with eBay, you don't need to do anything when you get your invoice - payment will be taken automatically in time to meet your payment due date.
If you don't have an automatic payment option on your account, you'll need to make a payment by the next invoice date to keep your account up to date.
To find out if you're set up for automatic payments, or if you'd like to make a one-time payment, look at the payment section of your invoice.
eBay automatic payment schedule
You can have eBay automatically charge your selling fees to a credit card, or deduct them from your PayPal account or bank account. The timing of this charge varies, depending on your invoice date and your selected payment method.
Note: Sellers on eBay.ie can currently only use PayPal, not a credit card or bank account, for automatic seller fee payments
For more help with automatic payments, see Selecting, changing or removing an automatic payment method.
Automatic payment methods
All sellers are required to have an automatic payment method on file . We accept the following types of automatic payment methods:
Your invoice payment will be automatically processed by your payment due date, according to the payment method you chose when you created your seller account.
To confirm your payment method on file:
1. Click My eBay at the top of most eBay pages. You may need to sign in.
2. Place your pointer over the Account tab, and then click Seller Account.
3. Scroll down to the section titled Payment methods for Seller Fees to find out your current payment method.
You can also make a onetime payment to pay your seller invoice. To ensure that you don't make duplicate payments, allow at least 5 days between any onetime payment and your automatic scheduled payment.
Paying by check (for businesses only)
It may take up to 10 business days after we receive your check to process and post the payment to your account. When paying by check, submit a payment coupon along with your check and mail it to the address on the coupon. Allow 10 business days plus delivery time between the date you mail the payment and your payment due date.
