Our listing recommendations appear as you create a listing, in My eBay, and in Selling Manager and Selling Manager Pro. We also might send you an email reminder about the recommendations, with links to the specific listings that we think might need a little help. Our goal is to help you create listings that are more informative and attractive to buyers and improve your chances of selling your items. For example, offering free shipping or accepting returns can make your listings stand out more than ones that don’t. Similarly, using descriptive keywords in your title can motivate buyers to look at your listing, instead of moving on to another listing in search results.
When you're creating your listing, you see pricing recommendations based on similar items that are currently active or have sold on eBay. This information gives you insight into how to price your item.
For your active listings that haven't sold in a few months, we also provide price recommendations, to help improve your chances of selling your item.
The title is one of the most important aspects of your listing. Our title recommendations help you identify important words such as brand name, size, or other descriptive information that a buyer might use in their search.
Entering item specifics ensures that buyers find your listing when they use this information in their searches.
We provide item specifics recommendations to help you determine how to improve your listings so that they perform better in buyer searches. In some cases, we also suggest item specifics key words to include based on the listing category, title, and description.

Other listing strategies
Choose the most specific category available to help buyers find your item. For an extral fee, you can list your item in 2 categories to maximise your item's visibility.
If your item is associated with a product in our catalogue, use product details and a stock photo from our catalogue for your listing description. By including product details you can save time, create a more complete listing description, and make your item more visible to buyers. When selling used, refurbished or flawed items, we recommend you also include pictures of the actual item for sale, in addition to a stock photo.
If you don't offer free postage & packaging, consider using calculated P&P and decide which postage service you'll use. Pack your item so that you can weigh it and measure its length, width and height so you have this information when you create your listing. When you use calculated postage, you won't need to guess the amount it will cost to send the item.
Explore listing upgrades to distinguish, promote, and enhance your listing. Listing upgrades include making your title bold and adding a subtitle.
Use multi-quantity listings to list identical items all at once with a Buy it now price.

Accurately describing the condition, size, and quality of the item
Have a clear returns policy. If you accept returns, specify a return policy for international sales within the Item Description, if it's different from your return policy for sales to buyers located in your country.
Honouring original terms when you accept payment for an item at the end of a successful sale
Promptly sending the item with appropriate packaging, including a packing slip after payment has been received
Responding promptly and courteously to questions from the buyer
Communicating with the buyer about when the item will be sent
Issuing refunds in a timely manner if you accept returns or when there are problems with delivery
Quickly resolving problems directly with the buyer so the buyer doesn't have to contact eBay. If a buyer does open areturn or refund request, reply quickly and address the buyer's concerns.
