    Wha can I say? I plugged the printer into my MAC and it worked perfectly without having to download any firmware. Most newer printers now use software that can detect whether or not you are using authentic toner. They won't function if you buy the cheaper aftermarket toners. This one uses aftermarket toner perfectly, for about 1/4th the cost of Brother toner. Also, the printer cost about half the cost of a new one and is in great condition, doesn't look used. . Great Deal!
