  The package came in a neat paper box. A problem with the original courier delayed the delivery. A polite conversation with the seller later and I received the package within two weeks via Post Japan. Everything came as described. A few days after purchase, I saw another listing of the same medallion at 3X the price and in a tarnished condition. My medal still has its luster. The velvet box remained blue.
