    The quality of these Rockville isolation pads is very good. I got very good results using them in the angled up position. I have my setup on a small table in a small room. The speakers were close to the floor. I tried just putting something under the front of them , but it was unstable and still sounded a bit off. The pads really do isolate it from what ever it's on. I have improved imaging with a slightly tightened bass. I'm very happy. For my situation they are a worth while upgrade
