    Book arrived in a box that was crumpled, gaping open and held together with rubber bands, courtesy of the USPS. The address label was torn and barely attached and I held little hope the enclosed book was undamaged. To my surprise, the bubble-wrapped book was protected and was in perfect condition….yet another reason to ship valuable books in cardboard boxes! Surprised still that the package arrived at all, given the label was barely attached. FYI, book was pristine!!

    Wow that box has a story to tell. So glad book arrived intact. Guessing the bar code was still readable and that's the only reason it got there.
