About us

The Book Merchant Jenkins is a general antiquarian bookstore in Brisbane, buying and selling new, used, and rare books in all genres; specialising in niche non-fiction with a focus on Sexuality, LGBTIQ+, Ethnopharmacology, Dance, Performance, and Art. Our store in Woolloongabba is open for browsing and order collections by appointment.

We publish regular lists and catalogues of new acquisitions, The Jenkins Edition. This is the best way to discover our rare and interesting books and other antiquarian materials. We also conduct regular rare book auctions. The auctions are held live in our store and streamed on our website with live online bidding.
