    It works, but with the unfortunate side effect of slowing the IDE channel to DMA33 -- even though the controller, cable, and other drive were previously running at higher speeds -- and it took several weeks to get confirmation that this is indeed an expected effect (vs. a mistake in hooking it up). It would have been nice for that to have been mentioned in the listing, or at least known (so as to enable a prompt response to inquiry).
