    Item was new and just as described and worked as designed immediately upon installation. It is a good value, but does not have the specs of a new genuine Shure SM58 capsule. That said, it's a good replacement for most applications, or as a backup. Probably most people would not notice the difference with proper equalization. I'm happy with everything except it took 9 days to get it NOT 2-4 days. Good seller!
