If you find the sweet spot in the center of the eyepiece and hold still, it gives beautiful views of the Moon's terminator. It is a beginner eyepiece I used to check out basic magnification and field of view for that type of eyepiece. Got here quickly and in excellent condition. It appears to be metal and glass and has a good heft to it. I am happy with this purchase and give it 5 stars for what it cost + performance.
