    this is second unit ive purchased; works fine. really handy for newer digital audio output only televisions to deliver good analog stereo "line" outputs for your home stereo amplifier .......and to listen to that (same) television with headphones/earbuds if quiet room is needed. Speaking as an electronics/audio engineer, i think it's a very good deal.

    EXCEED ALL MY EXPECTATIONS; completed my extensive testing-multiple data rates w/spectum analyzer & o'scope w/SACD test disc----great dynamic range & respectable ringing/settling performance @ 0 dBm ref/e.g. ALL PCM "F''s. It sounds "musical" on a high end audio system. i've bought other brands/models; THIS baby is definitely a good deal; and I'll buy at least one more for myself/my audio engineering lab (or a gift). :-)
