My LEGO Minifigure Story (2009-Present)
It all began in 2009 when I discovered my first "real" LEGO minifigure at a garage sale—a weathered spaceman with a cracked helmet and one missing arm. That imperfect little figure sparked an obsession that's lasted over a decade.
In the early years, I haunted flea markets and thrift stores, developing an eye for rare finds. My proudest discovery came in 2012 when I spotted a chrome gold C-3PO peeking out from a bin of random bricks. That heart-stopping moment taught me the thrill of the hunt.
By 2015, my collection surpassed 1,000 minifigures. Attempting to organize them became a legendary disaster—I tried sorting by theme, then color, then era, only to create a sea of dismembered limbs. My cat "helped" by stealing accessories, starting our ongoing battle over ninja weapons.
