I bought an Icelandic cookbook in hopes I could duplicate those meals at home in the US. However, I could not find any arctic thyme for sale by itself in Iceland. (I did not have a chance to go to a grocery store.) Upon my return home, I was delighted and thrilled to find that I could by the arctic thyme online. Order was shipped quickly.
