    When I had time to set up the FF 680W, I found it to work as it should, which was very nice for the few test photos. That was a relief as I was worried about it after seeing the packaging. So perhaps the shipping service was gentle with it. It had only hard Styrofoam underneath the scanner, some pieces jammed in the sides and only a small amount of packing pillows on top. In my opinion that allows for a lot of jiggling in transit and no protection if the box were to be turned upside down.
