Many of the world's best guitars and guitar accessories were introduced into Britain by Ivor at his store, which became and has remained, a mecca for professional and amateur guitarists at all levels of ability.On 31st December 2019, the lease on the iconic Central London storefront ended and sadly, at the close of business on Saturday 14th December 2019 the Musicentre storefront in Rathbone Place, London closed for business.The shop continues as an online retailer, maintaining a growing online presence through their website, eBay, Amazon and Reverb channels, with each channel offering a variety of unique pieces as well as every day essentials for a variety of musicians including licensed products, guitar accessories and spares.
