  Wand appears to work on simple barcodes. Investigating to see if a smoker fogged up the emitter/reader. It would explain dimming output of the emitter /reader. I'm a 20 year Navy ET so nothing to panic over. Simple cleaning with alcohol pad will resolve. I would buy again.
